00 — How it all started
Mechanical engineering degree, MBA in marketing & finance — then a risk desk at HDFC Bank, building fraud-trend decks and telling analysts which merchants to set alert rules on. One day it clicked: I was handing insights to analytics instead of being analytics. So I studied the craft, learned the role had a name, and switched sides.

Card, NetBanking and UPI fraud investigations — IP trails, device fingerprints, OTP logs, transaction velocity. Decision rules that cut false positives ~10%, 100% of cases resolved within TAT, and ₹1 Cr+ in loss prevention.

A/B frameworks that lifted merchant retention 15%. BigQuery slot consumption cut 80%. Dashboards for 20+ stakeholders, Airflow ETL over $4M/month of ad spend, and a revenue-logic rebuild that corrected a 15% MRR overstatement.
